Vision Islam has realised that there is a big deficit between number of those involved in Daʿwah (from both men and women) and the huge amount of effort needed in the field of Daʿwah in Australia. This huge shortage over the past several years has led to the degeneration of religious consciousness and the proliferation of sins and immoralities at all levels within the Muslim community.
It is necessary to train a future generation that is able to assume the responsibility of nurturing the Muslim community in Australia.
In order to achieve that, Vision Islam has spent years to plan and develop the Seekers of Knowledge program. It is an intensive program of study, starting with 2 years of study in the Arabic language followed by 4 years of Shari’ah studies. All while memorising the entire Quran over the 6 years and attaining a recognised certificate of memorisation (Ijaazah)
Among the unique features of this project is that it caters for female seekers of knowledge and future callers to Allah. Knowledgeable and practicing sisters are a key step for this Ummah’s success. ( Conditions apply)
Australia needs qualified students of knowledge who are fluent in English, who can convey the message of Islam in the language of the people. As Allah never sent a Messenger except speaking the language of the people, as Allah said “And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” [Ibraaheem 14:4]. Indeed, those who call to Allah need to match not only the language of the people but also the style of discourse. This assists in Daʿwah activities and problem-solving skills.
